I DID IT...

Daniel's school did a new fundraiser this year - the Boosterthon Fun Run. The kids were to run a 35 lap course at the school, and collected pledges per lap. The Boosterthon people did a great job getting the kids excited, and spent 2 weeks in the school doing character-building activities and keeping them in the hunt to get more pledges, and prizes. Here Dan sports his shades...

 

The day of the run was hot and chaotic. The kids ran their laps while we kept them hydrated...

 

 

Did I mention how hot it was, in September, in Florida?

 

 

Still, Dan managed to run all 35 laps, and we really want to thank all those who sponsored him.

 

 

 

He was so proud of himself for finishing that he wore his T-shirt backwards the rest of the day, so everyone could see that he had all 35 laps marked off.

And no, that doesn't say IDIOT across the top!

 

It says "I Did IT!"

Geez.
