McFCAT

If my child has to sit and take four days worth of high-stakes standardized testing, the least I can do is give him a special sendoff.  The Breakfast of Champions was free at McDonalds, and filled his belly with protein, carbohydrates and fruit, as suggested by his teacher.  The chocolate milk was just because.

In our house we are treating FCATs as a rite of passage, with no pressure to perform.  Even if he were to freeze up and not pass we would deal with it.  I'm not giving my kid an ulcer over a test.

Good luck, buddy!
