A Freudian Hanukkah
Tonight was the second night of Hanukkah. Daniel and I said the prayers and lit the candles of the Menorah. Afterwards, Daniel enjoyed opening a small gift, and happily ate a piece of homemade chocolate gelt (candy money).
I asked Dan to smile for Mommy, and instead he decided to imitate a 1950's Hollywood Freudian therapist.
Well, at least Freud was Jewish.
And, apparently, being a smartass has filtered down to a new generation.
