This morning I gave Daniel his gummy bear vitamin. He loves taking them, and will often walk around with one for several minutes before he actually puts it in his mouth.
This morning I gave him his vitamin and he proceeded to hold it, talk to it, make it walk and talk. He gave it a name ("Body"), and put him on the counter next to the baggie holding the rest of the gummy bear vitamins.
"Eat your vitamin, please."
"I can't," he replies.
"Why not?"
"He wants to be with his family. He'd be sad if he couldn't."
"Well," I reply, "we sure do like to keep families together whenever possible. But Body's job is to go into your tummy and keep you healthy. So please eat the bear."
