Summer in the Mountains...

We were lucky enough to be able to visit Pete's parents at their home in the mountains of North Carolina. Our dear friends/cousins Trish, Don and Evan joined us for an unforgettable trip. We were lucky to have Cousins Rob and a very pregnant Carrie, and my sister Ami and nephew Jake, each also join us for a few days at a time.

Dan was very excited to arrive after an all-night road trip...

 

While the boys caught up on their sleep we took photos...

 

 

And cleared some brush...

 

The second day we went tubing on Lake Nantahala, but fist a kiss for Yaya...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I think Dan enjoyed himself! And so did everyone else...

 

 

 

 

Great fun, but also exhausting...
