Valentine's Day may be a commercial holiday, but who cares? It's loads of fun, especially when you are in first grade.
They used candy hearts in some fun math exercises,
they delivered the Valentines they'd written themselves...
They had a special treat...
That was Dan's favorite part...
And his teacher's favorite, too!
After some running around on the playground...
They were sent home, all sugared up.
Gotta love it!
