Every year our school district collects food for the people in our community. Publix donates turkeys, and each family also gets a box of canned goods and other non-perishables to help them have full bellies for Thanksgiving. I was so proud of Dan for helping to sort the donations. The fact that pizza was provided for the volunteers was only part of his motivation...
Okay, he could have used the hand truck to sort more than one item at a time. A kid's gotta have fun!
