Daniel absolutely loves going to Yaya and Poppy's house. Daniel has a smile on his face from the moment I tell him we're headed to her house, and maintains it thoughout the visit and beyond.
Yaya makes a production out of ringing the doorbell, getting the mail, starting the washing machine, packing for a trip. Loading the dishwasher is an adventure, as is re-filling the pool, getting a book off the boat and going to the potty.
He's lucky to have (had) three wonderful grandmothers, each loving him fiercely, and very special in their own ways.

How wonderful! I remember many fond times with my grandma's!
I like to go to YA YA's too...
but I don't get the same reception as he does. He is such a cute kid!
