A lesson for Mommy...

 

Today Daniel and I were playing with his Duplo blocks. Sometimes when we play I actively try to teach him something, and sometimes I don't.

Today, while building bridges and tunnels, we started counting the knobs on top of each block. Daniel would count them off. I then asked him how many green blocks there were, and he kept getting it wrong. The third time I asked him to try again he looked at me and, wagging his finger at me, said "Mommy no more talking!"

Chastened, we just played.
