I've got some swampland in Florida, where apples don't grow on trees...

Today we went out to the Everglades and went on an airboat ride through the sea of grass.

In the middle of the summer with temperatures in the mid-90's, perhaps not our smartest move ever. At least the boat had a roof and a bug shield.

Still, we had lots of fun.

No, Daniel is not sporting an orange mustache. That's a life vest he's wearing...

Here's Vulture Island. No reservations required...

The Sea of Grass...

Every gator we saw was swimming. And they say we're the ones with intelligence...

Ahoy!

We'd do it again. But, preferably, without the girl sitting behind us who complained the entire voyage. Then, consider the source. According to her apples don't grow on trees. They do, though, grow in crops.

Here are the rest of the photos from today...

What a wonderfully fun family adventure! Dan is adorable! And yes, I bet the gators were nice and cool wondering what all the humans were doing sweating like crazy. LOL
