It's always wonderful visiting my sister Ami, her husband Chris and our nephew, Jake. It takes a wonderful hostess to be okay with you arriving at 11:30 pm, and to over her home again as a way station on our return to Florida.
We had a really fun visit, complete with a trip to Stone Mountain. Dan & I had never been, and Pete had not been since he was a kid. The mountain itself was very impressive , and we hope to go to the top on our next visit.
This visit, however, was all about the train. We all enjoyed the trip around the mountain, and we even got a kick out of the cheesy show they stage in a faux town about halfway through the ride.
Autumn has always been my favorite season. I love all of the harvest style decorations, and Stone Mountain did a beautiful job decorating for the season.
It was a great way to start our trip.

Stone Mountain is a fun climb, hopefully you'll get to enjoy it on the way back. Yay for visiting and enjoying family!
