Yaya skipped stones and Daniel marked his territory, and we enjoyed the glory of G-d's handiwork.
Good stuff.
Afterwards we went into Bryson City for lunch. We ate at a little Italian place right next to the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad tracks, across the street from the train depot. We were lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time, and Dan and Pete got to see a train pulling into the station to pick up passengers for their normal 4 hour excursion.
Then, lo and behold, there was a train museum right next door to the depot!
And did I mention that Pete has been using the binoculars at night, hoping to spot Bigfoot?
Really, could this vacation BE any better?
Here are more pictures of Daniel, the views, Lake Natahala, the family, kayakers on Queen Lake and the Smokey Mountain Railroad in Bryson City.
