The night before Halloween we went to the city's haunted house, which was pretty lame. It took about 2 minutes to get through the haunted house portion, and then we spent an hour and a half waiting in line to spend two minutes going down two bounce house slides.
Dan really did enjoy those four minutes.
I enjoyed this photo.
Dan and another boy analyze the lack of scariness of the zombie in the garbage can...
On Halloween morning we decided that Yaya's house should be Dan's first trick-or-treat house, so we surprised her...
Mama loved the costume, too...
Choosing from amongst so many yummy treats was difficult!
We'd not seen them since Daniel lost his two teeth, so Yaya and Mama were able to deliver some money the Tooth Fairy inadvertently left under THEIR pillows for Dan.
And Mama and Daniel compared lost teeth.
Dan loves his Yaya...
We also went to lunch with Grandpa and his gal pal Donna, of which there are inexplicably no photos. Daniel was thrilled to get some candy, a huge lollipop and a whoopee cushion in addition to a delicious lunch and wonderful company.
The whoopee cushion is a huge hit. Pete keeps blaming things on it. At least Phoebe isn't getting the blame any longer...
We also made it to Michael's to do a fun Halloween craft, then headed home so napping could be done before the night's festivities.
Meaning Daddy and Mommy napped while Daniel amused himself. Lovely.
