Cadillacs and Jaguars on the first night of Hanukkah...

We celebrated the first night of Hanukkah with Grandpa and Uncle David. Very low key, very fun.

 

Daniel chose gifts for them in the school store, and h elped wrap them.

 

 

The 8 days passed in a blur, and Dan loved getting all those gifts! This was the first year I let him help light the candles, and he loved it.

He's still not all that thrilled about being Jewish, and very much not thrilled about yarmulkes, but he'll grow into it.

But I'll always remember how he told me he wanted "to be a Cadillac like Daddy."

I'd rather be a Jaguar than a Cadillac any day, but that's me.
