Dan's class made faux gingerbread houses out of graham crackers and royal icing. It was very messy, and even more fun.
On the way home Dan's house collapsed. He was so upset! I consoled him by encouraging him to tell people he went inside it and did the biggest puff ever, which caused the collapse.
Giggles replaced tears, so sue me.
